Milorho Lodge is nestled comfortably on the northern slopes of the Magaliesburg mountains, which happens to be the second oldest mountain range in the world. Our pristine and tranquil reserve is home to a large endemic flora system, bursting with a beautiful array of bird and wildlife.
We offer over 600 hectares of vast beautiful kloofs and awe-inspiring rock pools for you to experience the freedom of nature through comfortable walks or exciting trails.
- Meet at 8:15 - We start hiking at 08h30 sharp
- Good hiking shoes, hat, sun block, at least 2lt of water, snacks.
- Braai or packed lunch - there are braai facilities: remember your charcoal and fire lighters
- 12km hike: Green Trail (There are shorter routes available)
- Difficulty rating: Moderate
- Fee: R100per person (R100 to give to the venue and R10 club fee)
- No radios or pets. No claims against the club for loss/death or injury. Your participation is voluntary. Be careful when walking. No littering, we leave only fairy footprints!
